JIWATA




The project is named after ‘Jiwata’ as it is inspired by the combination of two words which are Jiwa and Juwita. Both words are derived from the Malay language. ‘Jiwa’ directly translates as ‘soul’ relating to life, energy and vigour while the definition of the word with affixes - jiwaku, jiwamu, jiwanya, has a deeper meaning to it. ‘Jiwaku’, being the first-person possessive while ‘jiwamu’ and ‘jiwanya’ respectively are second-person and third-person possessive. ‘Juwita’ carries the meaning of the person of whom one is fond of and someone who is cherished. As a result of the word combination of Jiwa and Juwita, the idea to name the project as ‘Jiwata’ which signifies the care and thought on the life of the precious children.
